Ripping World has an 'integrated design approach'. Essentially,
this means we take a broad view of a project before deciding which
technology is the most appropriate and what is the most effective
method of implimentation.
This means firstly understanding the client brief; what is the
web site, application or service aiming to achieve? Is it viable
and if so, can it be done within the timescale and budget?
Then it means deciding which technology is the most appropriate
for the project and what is going to be the best way to employ it.
Being aware of the pros and cons of all the available technologies
and methodologies is vital at this stage.
However, there's no point in developing a powerful web application
with a user interface which is so 'clunky' nobody wants to use it.
Which is why Ripping World has an 'integrated' approach where the
graphic and development teams work together, rather than in isolation.

We believe there are three elements to the development of
web applications, which need to be incorporated.
- Client requirements (in terms of content, style and functionality)
- Creative brief (fulfilling and supporting the requirement
of the creative team)
- Technical design (the constraints and requirements of the
technical spec)
It is the job of the Ripping World development team
to work alongside the client to ensure that:
- Requirements are feasible, practical and scaleable.
- To assist in the creative process by matching a technical
solution to a creative concept.
- To ensure that when released, the web application meets the
web standards and functional specification of the client's ISP
and/or infrastructure.
