Ripping

'Minds of the Empire' was first published in 1995. I self-published the novel in the UK where it became a surprising 'best-seller'.' Minds of the Empire' was soon followed by the other books in the 'Dyason' series, 'Dominator' and 'Third Player'. These books also did very well in the UK.

Ripping Publishing' was formed around the success of these novels, and went on to successfully publish other titles in the 'Ripping Yarn' genre of adventure and fantasy.

This was all done in the world of traditional publishing, long before the days of social media and the internet. What we could have DONE, if we'd had access then to the sort of technology that is taken for granted these days!

The UK publishing industry was in a state of turmoil in the late 1990's and 'Ripping Publishing' unfortunately came to an abrupt end, when the major high street book shops cut their support for small independent publishers... and for a few years that was that.....

Fast forward to 2016 and me thinks it's time to take a look at re-launching 'Minds of the Empire', and 'Ripping Publishing' to a GLOBAL audience.

HOW? I hear you ask?

Well, 'print on demand' and 'e-books' have revolutionised publishing. And 'Social Media' offers the ability to access a global audience in a way that wasn't even IMAGINABLE back in the 90's.

The manuscripts for 'Minds of the Empire', 'Dominator' and 'Third Player' have been prepared as 'e-books' and set up for 'print on demand'. These cult bestselling titles will be available via Amazon, the 'Ripping Website' and other online distributors.

And of course, the title that everyone has been asking for all these years..... is waiting in the wings, ready to launch. 'Starweb', the unpublished sequel to the 'Dyason' series will be published later in the year.
